FITTER MACHINIST – $45PH

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Fitter Machinist to join a well-established mechanical workshop. This is a permanent workshop-based role offering consistent Monday to Friday hours and varied hands-on fitting, machining and repair work.

WHAT'S ON OFFER:

• $45ph + super
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
• Limited overtime available
• 100% workshop-based role

THE ROLE:

• Mechanical repairs, servicing and overhauls
• Rebuild and repair mechanical components and assemblies
• Manual lathe machining
• Dynamic balancing of rotating components
• Welding and general fabrication
• Inspection and fault finding of mechanical components
• Maintain high quality and safety standards

ABOUT YOU:

• Trade Qualified Fitter Machinist
• Strong mechanical fitting and machining experience
• Confident operating manual lathes
• Welding experience
• Experience with rotating equipment or mechanical repairs highly regarded
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Reliable with a strong commitment to safety
